The short version: Spoke collects nothing. There is no account, no server, no analytics and no advertising. Your data never leaves your device except where you choose to save it to your device's health platform (Apple Health on iPhone, Health Connect on Android).
Spoke uses your device's GPS to show speed and, during a ride you start, to record your route and distance. Location is processed entirely on your device. It is stored only in the app's local ride history and — if you enable it — in Apple Health (iPhone) or Health Connect (Android). It is never transmitted to us or to any third party.
With your permission, Spoke can save finished rides (workout, route, energy, heart rate) to Apple Health (iPhone) or Health Connect (Android), and read live heart rate from the same platform during a ride. Health data is handled by your device's health platform under its privacy protections. We have no access to it.
If you connect a heart-rate, cadence, speed or power sensor, readings are used live on-device and stored in your local ride history only.
Nothing. Spoke has no servers, no user accounts, no analytics SDKs, no ads and no third-party tracking of any kind. The App Store's "Data Not Collected" label and the Google Play Data safety declaration "No data collected or shared" both apply literally.
Spoke is a one-time purchase handled entirely by the store you bought it from (Apple App Store or Google Play). We never see your payment details.
Delete a ride in the app (swipe on it), or delete the app to remove all local data. Rides saved to Apple Health or Health Connect can be removed in that app.
